Professional guides will introduce you to the wonders of inflatable kayaks, also known as “duckies.” These inflatable sit-on-top kayaks are easy to maneuver and are exceptionally stable, making them ideal for rafting in the rapids. Your expert guides will teach you proper paddling techniques and how to tackle the rapids. Inflatable kayaks offer the most personal encounter with the river, as you won't be sharing space with anyone else but will have a kayak all to yourself. It’ll be you, the river, and a soothing breeze.
As you float over calm stretches of river, look around at the lush scenery made up of rolling ranchlands, breezy meadows, steep cliffs, and great clusters of bushy trees. You might even spot members of the local wildlife, including the famous bald eagle and industrious little beavers. Paddle through class I-II rapids and the occasional class III for a thrilling adrenaline spike! By the end, you'll be sore from all the smiling you've done!
This 8-hour rafting adventure puts you in the center of the action! You'll develop a deeper appreciation for the land and its history as you navigate this ancient waterway. Don’t forget to capture photos and videos of your adventure—just not during the rapids!
