Perfect for all skill levels, this all-day adventure will introduce you to the fun and artistic sport of ice climbing!
Your action-packed day kicks off in Colorado’s stunning Summit County. You can choose to meet your guide within the Town of Silverthorne or at the day’s designated trailhead. Your climbing destination will vary based on ice conditions and your group’s experience level, interests, and climbing goals. No matter where you end up, you’ll have a blast climbing up sparkling ice falls!
Before getting on the ice, your guide will demonstrate a few climbing techniques and go over some safety basics. You’ll also be equipped with everything you need to get started including a helmet, harness, crampons, and ice tools. Once you’re all geared up, it’s time to unleash your inner climber!
Using ropes and a variety of professional-grade tools, your guide will help you safely climb a variety of icy walls. Depending on your experience, this may include climbs ranging from beginner bouldering to more challenging and physically demanding walls. Climb, kick, and use your ice tools to help propel your body up the wall. You’ll feel a wave of excitement when you finally reach the top!
