One thing I'd recommend is buying good "water" socks - the creek is cold and you'd want your feet to be insulated. What happens on the day
Experience the thrill of rafting with a beginner level whitewater trip down the beautiful Clear Creek!
Check in ahead of time and get fitted for a wet suit, life vest, splash jacket, helmet and paddle. You'll travel to the river by bus and practice paddling techniques to get you ready to raft. After a safety orientation, you'll be ready to take to the water with your experienced guide.
Raft down the river past gold mines and keep an eye out for Colorado wildlife! With 11 Class II and III rapids, you'll get a thrilling adventure that is perfect for the whole family!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

- Rapids range from Class II-III
- Participants must be at least 6 years old, 50 pounds, and in good physical condition during normal water levels
- Higher water levels require may require older participants
- If water levels are higher than normal, the minimum age may be 10 years old
- Adult pricing is for participants 13 years of age or older

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling may be allowed, however rescheduling within 14 days of your experience and outside 48 hours before the trip will result in a 15% change fee of the total cost of the experience. No rescheduling will be allowed within 48 hours of your experience.

Brooke Boelman was a fantasic booking agent! She listened to my requests and didn't force me to book a date or time until I had all my information to make a decisions. She was very friendly and helped reassure me of my fears about rafting. Couldn't be more happy with the booking and overall experience.
