The magic of “beer therapy” begins as you step into your private Beer Therapy Room, complete with a cedar hydrotherapy tub, a full-spectrum infrared sauna, a rain shower, and a relaxation deck.
Start off in the full-spectrum infrared sauna and allow the light and colors to balance your body’s energy. Then slip into the tub and soak in a warm, bubbly beer bath infused with a carefully curated combo of herbs, hops, and malted barley, while sipping on your favorite pint of cold brew. Rinse off in the soothing rain shower and spend the remainder of your time just relaxing on the wooden deck.

How are the spas kept clean?
The tubs are fully drained, disinfected, and refilled with clean water after each use.
Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions for using the spa, but participants must be 21 years of age to drink. Additionally, if one or more people in the group are under 21, beverages will not be allowed in the private Beer Therapy Rooms. Participants between 13-17 are required to have a parent or guardian accompany them, sign the release waiver and remain on-site for the duration of the float. Participants under 13 are required to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver and remain in the room during the float.
Is there really beer in the bath?
Not exactly. As the beer bath is filled, the water is infused with a seasonal herbal blend that always uses hops and malted barley as a base. New blends are curated every few months, incorporating herbs like lavender, calendula, chamomile, and peppermint, depending on the season. These herbs slowly brew as the water fills the tub, creating a giant beer tea – except instead of drinking, you soak in it!
What if I have an allergy or medical issue?
The herbal mixes used in the beer baths change on a seasonal basis, so if you have specific allergies or concerns, please alert Virgin Experience Gifts at the time of booking to see what accommodations can be made. If you have any medical issues, please consult your doctor before using the beer bath and infrared sauna.
Can I take part in a Beer Therapy Session if I’m pregnant?
Please consult your physician for advice on which treatments are safe. In general, hot tubs and saunas are not recommended for those who are expecting, but if your physician says it’s okay, ask about lowering the heat of the sauna and hot tub to your desired temperature.
Is the Beer Spa ADA accessible?
Yes! The Beer Spa is entirely ADA accessible. This includes a designated ADA Beer Therapy Room equipped with an ADA shower bench, sauna ramp, and mechanical spa lift. If you would like to book an ADA-accessible Beer Therapy Room, or if you need other accommodations, please let Virgin Experience Gifts know at the time of booking.
Is Gratuity Included?
A recommended gratuity of 20% will be added on top of total service pricing + add-ons at check-out, unless specified otherwise. The Beer Spa is a tip sharing establishment and all tips are split equitably between The Beer Spa’s Spa keepers and Beer Therapists.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 48 hours prior to the experience. Failure to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.

The beer spa was relaxing and the staff was great. We will definitely be going back!
The Beer Spa experience was amazing, could not recommend it more highly. But I’d never book anything through Virgin Experience ever again. It took weeks to actually get the experience booked because they (Virgin) are so short staffed that by the time I’d get a response from a Virgin agent all the time slots for the beer spa had been filled. We exchanged over a dozen emails, until finally I requested a phone call and for the agent to book the beer spa with me on the phone as I was not able to book the reservation with the spa directly. An entirely inefficient and frustrating experience from start to finish.
