Upon arrival in Hayes Valley, you’ll discover the art of dumpling-making alongside an expert chef. They’ll take you through the traditional process step-by-step, from making the wrapper dough from scratch to using Shanghainese cooking techniques. Before you know it, you'll be kneading, rolling, and pleating like a pro.
Then, you’ll put your taste buds to the test as you sample different soy sauces and build your own secret dipping sauce. Once everything's cooked to perfection, there’s nothing left to do but dig in!
Savor each delicious dumpling before indulging in two more courses: a traditional soy sauce pork belly braise and dessert. The best part? Everything is made using local and organic ingredients. You’ll fall in love at first bite!
