Nestled on Treasure Island, Gold Bar Whiskey Distillery offers a unique tasting room, featuring stunning art deco-inspired interior and sweeping views of the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and San Francisco. Plus, with over 500+ five-star reviews, it's the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and get your sip on.
Once inside, you’ll join a pro mixologist for a hands-on lesson in shaking, stirring, and sipping whiskey like a pro. Start with a guided tasting of small-batch, Napa Valley wine barrel-finished whiskeys, complete with expert insights on flavor profiles and pairing suggestions. Then, follow along as you craft three full-sized classic cocktails: the Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, and Paper Plane.
As you mix and mingle, you’ll also uncover stories about the Bay Area’s rich past and whiskey-making traditions. Cheers to that!
