The pottery class was very well taught by Ann. She was very sweet and encouraging. Two hours went by quickly and it was really fun to try something new. Being my first class ever I did not expect much, but I was able to make two pieces of pottery and I am excited to see how they turned out!

What happens on the day
From mud to masterpiece, discover the joy of creating your own pottery—no experience necessary!
Your 2-hour workshop begins at one of two San Francisco studio locations (Sutter Street or 24th Street). Equipped with three pounds of clay, you'll learn how to mold and shape your own unique pieces, all with the guidance of an expert instructor.
Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty as you explore different throwing techniques and take a spin on the potter’s wheel. Of course, your instructor will be there every step of the way, offering guidance, tips, and plenty of encouragement. Whether it’s a decorative vase or a one-of-a-kind mug, you can make up to three different pieces.
After class, your creations will be carefully trimmed, bisque fired, and glazed to perfection—ready for you to pick up 4 to 6 weeks later!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
