Kick things off with a 4-hour sailing experience aboard the San Salvador, a replica of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo's ship that arrived at the port of San Diego on September 28, 1542. Along the way, you’ll listen to captivating tales about the history of sailing and exploration in San Diego.
Then, visit the world’s best collection of historic ships at the Maritime Museum. Each ship houses on-board exhibits, creating a unique floating museum. Uncover the Age of Steam, visit the USS Dolphin submarine, and explore an impressive gallery of model ships.
You’ll even get to see the world’s oldest active sailing ship, the Star of India. This incredible ship has sailed around the world a whopping twenty-one times!
