What happens on the day
Embark on the ultimate safari – no passport required!
Located in Escondido, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park® features 1,800 acres of sprawling savanna and world-class botanical gardens, all teeming with wildlife. Hop aboard the Africa Tram and watch as rhinos, giraffes, wildebeest, and large herds of wildlife roam together.
Then, come face-to-face with Sumatran tigers, hop alongside kangaroos, and watch adorable platypuses glide through the water. Park admission also includes daily wildlife presentations where you can meet animal ambassadors and learn about the importance of conservation.
