Nature lovers, welcome to paradise!
Home to dramatic sea caves, rugged cliffs, and a dazzling array of marine life, the La Jolla Ecological Reserve is one of Southern California’s most breathtaking natural playgrounds—and now, you can experience it all firsthand!
After a quick safety brief and paddling orientation, you’ll follow your certified La Jolla guides aboard a sit-on-top kayak. Paddle through calm waters to two unique snorkel sites: the rocky reef between Goldfish Point and Emerald Cove, and the sandy flats just outside the Marine Room.
Then it’s time to dive in! Slip on your snorkel gear and come face-to-fin with vibrant garibaldi, sheepshead, shovelnose guitarfish, and even friendly leopard sharks (most commonly seen from May through October).

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
