Known for its pristine beaches, rich history, and vibrant city life, Coronado Island is California’s crown jewel. During this 3-hour tour, you’ll see the island’s most iconic places from the seat of a fun and zippy scooter!
Your one-of-a-kind adventure will kick off when you pick up your electric scooter in San Diego. Equipped with GPS, your scooter will take to Coronado Island’s most iconic landmarks and provide witty commentary along the way.
Beginning in downtown San Diego, you’ll make your way towards the ocean before boarding a ferry. Enjoy a short ride across San Diego Bay and capture stunning photographs of the Coronado Bay Bridge and San Diego Harbor. Once on Coronado Island, your electric scooter will guide you to (stops are subject to change):
- Hotel del Coronado
- Spreckels Park
- Coronado Beach
- North Island

- On the day of rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the Scooter is returned

FAQs
Do I have to wear a helmet?
The experience provider does require all riders to wear helmets on the tour as safety is a top priority.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
Riders must be at least 15 years old, and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
Can I stop along the way?
Of course! You set your own pace! The scooter always knows where you are and you can park anywhere you want (motorcycle parking or car parking) for as long as you want, and as soon as you start to drive again, the scooter will narrate your tour/drive.
Do I have to stay on the tour?
Absolutely not! If there is a sight you want to see but it is not included on the tour, simply use the provided map to navigate through the city streets. You can even put a CD in the stereo and enjoy music along the way!

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. A $20 per booking cancellation fee will apply to any cancellations, however, departure times may be rescheduled subject to availability. No cancellations will be allowed within 72 hours of your scheduled tour.
