What happens on the day
Experience the magic of spotting whales, dolphins, and sea lions in their natural habitat!
Beginning along the shores of West Harbor, you’ll be welcomed aboard a custom-built, state-of-the-art catamaran. With an environmental engine and advanced technology, it’s one of the most eco-friendly boats in the harbor. Plus, there’s plenty of space to sit back, relax, and enjoy your ride out to the Pacific Ocean.
Depending on the time of year, you may spot migrating Pacific gray whales (winter to spring) over even giant blue whales (summer to fall). You’ll also search for humpback whales, fin whales, minke whales, dolphins, sea lions, and other amazing species that can be found year round.
The best part? You’ll learn tons of fun and fascinating facts along the way—perfect for the whole family!

When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 24 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
