Dinner Cruise in Marina Del Rey

The crew were professional and prompt!! We had no idea this was a John Wayne’s Yacht and my husband is his biggest fan! I went up on the leader board in the best wife ratings!! The food was spectacular and the weather was perfect! 10/10 from our experience!

This was the first time me and my husband experienced this dinner curse and we had a blast I can truly say we loved everything about it and would do it again In our future.

It was a beautiful night with a great staff of people. Very elegant and classy. I would recommend this spot for anyone who’s wanting to create great memories with their love ones. Lots of celebrations on board and it was a pleasure to be there.

We are from the northwest suburbs of Illinois. We flew to Los Angeles for a mini vacation and decided to book a dinner cruise with Cloud 9 Living. To begin, from their customer service agent that booked our cruise to the actual cruise itself, we absolutely loved it and had an awesome time! We especially loved that the DJ played music that catered to each ethnic backgound on the boat, to properly enjoy the sounds based on our ages and ethic cultures. We also had the kindest, warm and friendly professional waiter on the boat. We sat at Table 15, I think his name was Peter (can't remember), he was so outstanding and catered to our every need promptly with a smile. He was extremely professional, We loved his customer service style the best! The experience was very rewarding, romantic and pleasurable for my husband and myself -- we enjoyed every single moment of it!!!!! We plan to do it again next year! The dinner was very delicious and filling. Although we had to pay for our table bottle of champagne, we did not care because we loved the hospitality of the staff that greeted us at the door with a glass. Overall, I would rate my experience of the dinner cruise 100% and then some. What a great choice of dinner cruise selections by Cloud 9 Living. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee you that!

Amazing experience!!!

The dinner cruise was wonderful. The staff was exceptional on all levels. The food and music were terrific! The only concern I had was the boat was a bit dated, and the table we were at was leaning so it was a little uncomfortable.

It was a little confusing on how to book our excursion since we had multiple gift certificates to apply, but once I called the number on the website, Michaela was awesome at taking care of the problem, and I was able to get us booked. My husband and I took the Marina Del Rey Dinner Cruise and had a wonderful time. We were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and, from the time we arrived until the time we left, the whole crew made us feel special. The food was great and more than we expected. The only downside to the whole experience was that it rained, but hey, until you can control that, no worries. Thanks for a great time.

Awesome

It was an awesome experience! I was so thrilled that Cloud 9 Living was able to expedite my request in just a short few days. It was a fabulous exposition from Southfield, Michigan to Los Angeles. I can't explain how magnificently this whole process was handled from beginning to end. I am very pleased!!! I have already told so many of my peers about the service. You will be getting a lot of positive feedback!

Beautiful views and great food!

The dinner cruise was wonderful, the food was terrific! The service was exceptional. The only complaint I would have is that it didn't last long enough!! No, seriously, I was a little surprised at the appetizer. There should be something else they could offer besides what was, if you were judging the coming meal on that, I would have been disappointed but the meal itself was excellent. That would be my only complaint. A more appeasing appetizer would say there is a meal coming you will be very happy with! This, of course, is only a suggestion but since we were there with another couple and I was the only one who knew what was going to be served, I could tell they were a little surprised and slightly disappointed. They raved about the rest of the meal. This is just a thought but I am in business myself and the beginning of the meal should be as good as the ending. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Everything was great. The only thing i would point to for improvement was the climate control. It was not unbearable, but if you are looking for things to improve, that would be it. We were dressed in shirts and slacks, and it was hot and muggy in the banquet room. Other than that, it was spot on.

Everything was first class, from the food to the service. We had a great time and will be back for the brunch cruise.

The dinner cruise was better than we imagined. The boat was big and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They serve you two meals; salmon and the beef. The entrees, vegetables, the bread sticks with dipping sauces were delicious. Even the champagne, which none of us like, was good. So good, we ordered a bottle. The views of Balboa were beautiful. It is warm inside the boat so you really don't need to dress warm. We had to step out to cool down. The DJ was great. A variety of music; he took requests. The experience is fun and a little loud; young girls having fun dancing and singing. If you want quiet, you can step up to the top deck or out to the back. There were couches in the back to enjoy the views. Highly recommend.

I gave this experience gift to my boyfriend to celebrate our 5-yr anniversary. He loved it! We went to the Newport Beach location. When we got there, they took our picture before we boarded the ship, handed us each a glass of champagne the moment we stepped foot aboard, and then once I showed them my booking confirmation, we were free to roam and explore the ship. Water and appetizers were already at our table waiting for us when we arrived and our waitress (who was wonderful, attentive, and friendly) was at our table within minutes to ask us if there was anything else she could get us. We met the captain and his first mate while we were walking around enjoying our champagne and they were very friendly and explained things about the ship and invited us in to see the controls, etc. The view was beautiful the entire time, even after the sun set, the lights in the harbor and reflecting off the water was such an elegant setting to enjoy the night. The food was fantastic - we had a caesar salad, salmon, beef short rib (that was so tender you did not need a knife), followed by a very rich piece of chocolate cake. Each of those courses were brought out separately and with just the right amount of time to finish each one before the next one arrived. There was a DJ who played various kinds of music and of course, took requests. He played mild music during dinner, and then brought the tempo up a little bit afterward. It was fun to get a little dancing in after dinner. The music was never so loud that you couldn't hear the people you were with, it was just totally appropriate. Enough to have fun, but not be overwhelming. There were also plenty of places you could sit and just relax, both inside and out on the deck. Overall, I would summarize the experience as elegant, classy, beautiful, and fun, with delicious food. It's a totally fun dinner experience.

Amazing experience!

We were celebrating my sweet heart's birthday. We had a blast! The staff was great. The music was culturally diversed. The food was good and filling. The birthday boy enjoyed sitting in the Captain seat, made him feel like King for the day....lol. We especially enjoyed the view from the top deck. Now other family members want to try it.

This was a surprise dinner for my boyfriend's birthday. We both enjoyed it all; from the greeting at the door with champaign all the way to our last dinner plate. We had a very friendly waiter as was the rest of the staff. It's an experience we have already reccomended to friends and family.

Chose the dinner cruise out of Newport for an anniversary dinner. First we arrived at the wrong location but soon after found the correct location however, immediately we had to find other parking accommodations because the parking lot was full. Our troubles were quickly forgotten as we caught a glimpse of what was to be our luxurious dinner date, therefore the only complaint I have is the confusion with locations and the inconvenience of the parking situation. Other than that, our experience was breath taking. We had an extremely romantic night dressed in our best and were quite dazzled by the beautiful lights, decor, and atmosphere of the boat. We loved the entire experience and are anxious to find any excuse to return as well as recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you!

I surprised my boyfriend with the dinner cruise to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing night! Everything exceeded my expectations! Thanks to the friendly staff and awesome food! We will definitely come back!

It was a wonderful experience for myself and my girlfriend. We were celebrating her birthday and she was blown away by how amazing everything was. From the dinner, to the dancing, to the breathtaking views from the boat, it was all perfect. Our waitress, Cece, was great and very helpful with all our needs. We were cancelled in May because too few people signed up. The rebooking ws very easy. I'd prefer to have the dinner cruise start earlier. Gettin any where along I-405 or PCH is a nightmare and Friday evenings are especially bad. I enjoyed the day time views of New Port and Balboa Island. A little narration would be welcome.

My husband and I spent a wonderful valentine's evening aboard the Entertainer. I am 8 months pregnant which made it extra special for us!

We had a lot of fun on the dinner cruise. The boat history was very interesting. It served as a mine sweeper in WWII and was later owned by John Wayne!
