What happens on the day
Embark on an open-air adventure as you travel down the entirety of the Grand Canyon's South Rim during this South Rim Jeep Tour departing from Grand Canyon South!
Your knowledgeable guides will share their vast Grand Canyon experience and take you to all the canyon's hidden gems. Climb aboard a custom Jeep Wrangler and enjoy incredible views as you drive along the South Rim. At 7,500 feet, you'll stop at the highest point on the South Rim and peer over the canyon edge to see trails and buttes below.
Next, you'll stop at Grandview Point where you'll be treated to even more incredible views. Here you can spot Vishnu Schist, a formation made of rocks over 1 billion years old! Finally, your tour will reach the Desert Watchtower where you'll get the best-known views of the mighty Colorado River and the Grand Canyon itself. From here, you can see almost 100 miles of the beautiful Painted Desert all around you. Along the way, don't forget to ask your expert guides all the questions you might have - they are a wealth of knowledge!

Essential Information
- Children 18 months of age and older are permitted on this tour
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- Tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers to run
- Please note: all non-US residents will be required to pay an additional $100 fee per person to enter the National Park. This fee will be collected prior to your tour in accordance with the National Park Service’s (NPS) new fee structure implemented on January 1, 2026.
- Non-US residents who have purchased a valid America the Beautiful (ATB) International Pass will be exempt from the additional fee; however, proof of pass is required.
- All US residents must bring a valid photo ID to prove residency

What should I bring with me?
Sunscreen and a bottle of water are strongly encouraged for this tour. You will also definitely want to bring your camera!
Are children allowed on this tour?
Yes! Children as young as 18 months are permitted on this tour, but will require their own ticket.
Please note: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Do I need a car seat for my child?
No! Your experience provider will provide car seats for all children between the ages of 18 months and 4 years. Just let the provider know at the time of booking and they'll take care of the rest.
Is this an off-road tour?
No - this tour stays on the pavement and takes you to several beautiful vistas along the South Rim.
Are hotel pick-ups included?
Complimentary hotel pick-ups can be arranged for guests staying in the town of Tusayan only. Otherwise, guests are expected to arrange their own transportation to the meeting location for this tour.
Are there restrooms on the trial?
Unfortunately there are no restrooms once you start your adventure. You will have to go either before or after your experience.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
