What happens on the day
There’s only one way to truly experience the Alaskan countryside in all its frozen glory, and that’s on a private 1.5-hour mushing tour. This immersive experience puts you in contact with this timeless winter tradition with your own team of sled dogs!
Meet at a Mongolian yurt where the sled dogs and sleds are prepped. Here you'll receive your essential winter gear including a parka and other cold-weather clothes, ensuring you have as comfortable an experience as possible while out on the trails. All of the sleds are enclosed in a zippered sled bag with reindeer hides for extra insulation. You’ll get briefed on the experience and what to expect while out on the tundra. This is also a perfect time to ask any questions that may be on your mind before departing.
Once everyone in your group is set, you’ll depart from the Mongolian yurt and surrounding headquarters, each with your own personal guide to help you on your journey. There is a 400lb capacity per sled. Most often this fits two adults. However you decide to situate yourselves, you’ll venture into the frozen landscape, following along the world-famous Yukon Quest Trail that leads through some of Alaska’s most beautiful countryside.
At the halfway point, you'll stop to allow the Alaskan Huskies to roll around in the deep, powdery snow while you take in the serene winter landscape. This is the perfect time to capture stunning photos of the landscape as well as the obligatory selfie or group shot. Smile for the camera while the playful Huskies leap in for an adorable photo bomb!
After your adventure is complete, you'll return to the Mongolian yurt where you can warm up and poke around the giftshop. Be sure to pick up a souvenir from your time on the trails!

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
