The best way to experience Kenai Fjords is on foot, where you can feel the beauty of the landscape right beneath your feet.
Your adventure begins in Seward, where courtesy transportation will take you into Kenai Fjords National Park. All necessary glacier equipment is provided, including a small backpack, crampons, helmet, and trekking poles. You'll have everything you need to tackle the glaciers! Follow a friendly guide over vast fields of ice surrounded by lush forests and distant, majestic mountains. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you bask in the natural wonders of the park. Your guide will provide insight into the geological history of the area as well as assistance where needed. Walk at your own pace as you explore the massive ice formation known as Exit Glacier, a towering icefield filled with caves, crevices, and rippling with splendid blue-white colors.
