After being reintroduced in 1995, around 100 wolves now call Yellowstone National Park home. See these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat on this Private Yellowstone Wolf Safari!
Your all-day adventure will begin with a convenient pick up from your accommodation in Gardiner, Montana. Board a comfortable SUV or minivan and make your way into America’s first national park.
Your expert guide will take you to some of the park’s best wildlife viewing locations. Using binoculars and high-quality spotting scopes, you’ll search the hills for wolves. These impressive animals come in a variety of colors including gray, white, and even black. While on the lookout for wolves, you may see other animals such as bison, elk, bears, and moose!
If you’re lucky, you may hear the haunting sound of a wolf howling, or even spot a pack hunting. As you look, your guide will share interesting wolf facts and answer any questions that you may have. After a wonderful day of wildlife watching, you’ll head back to Gardiner.

- Snowshoes available during the winter time
- Please note: all non-US residents will be required to pay an additional $100 fee per person to enter the National Park. This fee will be collected prior to your tour in accordance with the National Park Service’s (NPS) new fee structure implemented on January 1, 2026.
- Non-US residents who have purchased a valid America the Beautiful (ATB) International Pass will be exempt from the additional fee; however, proof of pass is required.
- All US residents must bring a valid photo ID to prove residency

What can I expect on this tour?
You can expect to have a great time with friendly people and knowledgeable local tour guides. The goal is to have an amazing time while exploring Yellowstone National Park and looking for wolves.

This is a private tour and will consist of you, your personal group of up to 5 individuals, and your guide.
What should I bring?
Bring your adventurous spirit, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera. While snacks and drinks are included, this tour does not include full meals. You may wish to bring your own lunch or purchase one within the park.
What should I wear?
Yellowstone's mountain climate can change rapidly. Bring clothes that are appropriate for a variety of weather conditions. We recommend wearing light layers that are easy to put on and take off. You may also want to bring along a rain jacket or poncho, hat, and gloves. For winter tours, bring a heavy jacket, gloves, boots, and a hat.

Are we guaranteed to see a wolf?
Yellowstone's animals are wild. Wolf sightings are unfortunately not guaranteed. However, your expert guide will take you to some of the best viewing areas to increase your chances of viewing these magnificent creatures.

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, no cancellations or rescheduling will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
