What a great day eating fantastic food and hearing about the history of the South End from two knowledgeable guides. We would go again!

It was a really fun time, and Hannah, our guide, was great! The food was spectacular, the day was lovely, and it made me fall in love with Boston all over again!

We are actually Boston locals, and went on on this food adventure as a wedding gift. Each restaurant was well chosen displayed by the atmosphere, tasty bites and drinks. Our guide, Nicole, was great. She slowed up down in a few spots and shared bits of Boston trivia and history that we didn't know. Overall, we had an awesome time and discovered even more restaurants in the area that we want to go back to check out.

Laurel was a great guide. We had a beautiful day for our tour and enjoyed all of our stops. Living nearby, I will certainly go back and visit some of the gems she showed us!

Our son and daughter in law gave us this tour as gift knowing that we love to learn the history and culture of places we are unfamiliar with. And of course because of the food. We had a wonderful afternoon and met people from Chicago, upstate New York and others who were from Massachusetts like us. Our tour director, Hannah, was great. Her knowledge of the area was impressive. We loved hearing the personal stories about the restaurant owners of the establishments that we visited. When asked "what restaurant or food sample we liked best" . We couldn't choose because we liked them all. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Hannah, was knowledgeable and interesting. The food was varied and all delicious. Hannah did a great job of keeping our group together and out of the way of other foot traffic.

Fantastic day with Nicole touring the South End. Some great tidbits of info about the neighborhoods and we’ve added the majority of the food stops to our must eat restaurants for Boston. Well worth it and a fun day.

Our family took the tour from a gift certificate from a Christmas gift. We had never done one before. It was lovely! Our tour guide, Rebecca , was fun and had great tidbits of history and interesting stories about the South End. All of the food was different and my kids all enjoyed it. We want to do another different one on another occasion!

Our leader, Nicole, was enthusiastic, knew her stuff, and was organized...so not a lot of waiting around. The design of the tour was a nice balance of walking, talking, and eating. Enough of all, and not too much of any. The food was wonderful, the stops nicely varied, and Nicole's talk included a lot of interesting historical and architectural (i.e. - non-food) information that also made the tour deeper and more interesting.

My daughter gave me this as a Mothers Day gift & we had a wonderful time. Rebecca, our tour guide, was very professional, courteous & fun. She know a lot about the history of the area & shared her knowledge with us. The restaurants we went to were a good mix & the food was delicious!

The guide set the tone of our tour. She was very knowledgeable on the topic of the various foods we were experiencing, and the local history of the section of Boston that was toured. There was always a smile and some humor to keep the walk enjoyable. The timing at each location was just enough, never feeling rushed. Each and every stop had wonderful tasting food, plus the presentation equaled its taste. We would certainly enjoy the experience again with friends or visitors.

It was great - the food was so good! And now I have lots of places I want to visit. A bit larger serving sizes would have been nice at some places, along with better presentation (more formal like the Parish Cafe, which was our favorite, and made us feel special).

Our guide Laurel was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable. Her degree in Gastronomy and her command of both local history in general and the establishments we visited made for a fun and interesting tour. Visited 3 restaurants, a cheese shop & 2 bakery/cafes.

The tour was great! I have been to Boston many times and never considered going to the South End. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging about the history and revitalization. Nice community! She was also organized and timely. I tried different foods I normally would not eat and all was good. I would however, swap the mini cupcake for something more savory. The cookie and vegan ice cream was enough of 'treats' and was delicious!

Honestly, I did expect more food, real food. What I had was good, Parish Cafe very good and Stephi's as well. Thanks.

Didn't book directly; received it as a gift. Our tourmates included three from Toronto on a birthday celebratory trip, three from Florida dropping a daughter off at college, and two local couples, the other turning out to be from Switzerland and Mexico, recently arrived to do two years of medical research. A fun outing in beautiful weather, all tied together with shared experience and food. A fine afternoon...
