What happens on the day

Experience lunch with a San Francisco twist!

Your 2-hour lunch cruise begins at Pier 3, where you'll board a luxurious yacht and get ready to see San Francisco from a whole new perspective. With climate-controlled interiors and open-air rooftop decks, you'll have plenty of ways to relax, dine, and soak up the scenery.

Once aboard, you'll settle in for a delicious buffet featuring freshly prepared entrées, salads, and desserts. Grab a plate, find your favorite spot, and enjoy unlimited coffee, hot tea, iced tea, and water throughout your cruise.

As you dine, you'll cruise past some of San Francisco Bay's most iconic sights. Keep your camera handy for incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the city skyline. Between bites, head up to the rooftop deck for a breath of fresh air, legendary views, and live entertainment.

Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions, and your experience with us begins!

What is the dress code?

Business casual attire is recommended. You may find that some guests are dressed more formally, especially those celebrating special occasions. However, attire varies from comfortable shorts to the more formal. Bring along a light jacket or wrap as it may get a bit breezy on the outer decks.

What time do I board the ship?

The boarding time is 30 minutes prior to departure. Please allow yourself some enough time for parking and to pick-up the boarding passes.

Are there any age restrictions?

There are no age restrictions, but minors require adult supervision. Children under the age of 4 cruise for free.

Where can I park my car?

There is an attended parking lot available on Pier 3, Embarcadero. There are also four separate facilities on Battery St. and Clay St, Davis St. and Clay St., Front St. and Clay St & Drumm St. and Clay St. (Embarcadero 1, 2, 3 &4) There are additional parking lots available on Davis St. between Broadway St. & Vallejo St., on the corner of The Embarcadero on Broadway St and on the Embarcadero and Washington St (Directly across from Pier 3). Please make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking.

What happens if it rains or snows?

The cruise takes place indoors and will run rain or shine. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, we will remain dockside.

What kind of entertainment is on board?

There is no dancing available on the Lunch Cruise. There is background music to ensure a pleasant ambiance.

Can I bring cakes and flowers on board?

Cakes that do not require refrigeration may be brought on board. You will be charged a $1.50 per person cake cutting fee (subject to change). You may bring flower bouquets.

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

Exchanges

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
