Gaslamp Quarter Food Tour in San Diego

The tour guide was freaking amazing, I will not only coming back, I want to check every tour he has to go and take advantage. Great knowledge and me and my wife felt great in all restaurants and places. Att Andretti Santiago P.S. This site must have something to provide tips for the Tour guide, I never carry cash and I wanted to give him a tip.

Stefan was great. The tour was perfect with the right mix of walking and resting. My friend and I took Amtrak from Orange County for a day trip to San Diego. Tour was in walking distance of the train station. Perfect. Tour ended about 2 miles from train station. We took a bicycle taxi back to Amtrak. Perfect day. My only downer is the tour guide need to wear something that says I'm the tour guide. I walked past Stefan twice and only found him when I called the tour company. Maybe a bright colored shirt or sign. Anyhow, we enjoyed the experience, the food, and the stories. We will plan another day trip soon. Please tell Stefan he rocks and keep this day job!

We met with Stephan for our tour. He was really nice, knowledgeable and funny. We truly enjoyed our time together and with our guide, Stephan. Thank you.

Stefan was great!! He was very knowledgeable of the Gaslamp Quarters. The only thing I would change is to have more restaurant stops. We went to 3 restaurants and 1 cupcake stop -- I would have liked to try a little bit more.

Katie was our tour guide. She is absolutely perfect for this position. She's funny, perky, extremely knowledgeable of the history of the Gaslamp district, and provided a wonderful introduction to San Diego to us newcomers to the area.

Our tour guide, Katie was friendly, funny and extremely accommodating. She had the facts, the humor and desire to make the tour experience fun for each person on the tour. The staff at each restaurant we visited were warm and food was great!

Lance was a fabulous guide. He knew a lot about the gas lamp district and offered unique facts about the city. He also directed us in the right directions for other great things to do while in San Diego. In addition, he told us about things that even people who live in San Diego did not know. My wife and I had a great time and would recommend this tour to everyone.

The tour was great and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Gas Lamp district and San Diego. I declined to answer the age question because on our tour, we brought our kids (in their 20s) and with us. the tour was thoroughly enjoyed by all, including the history discussion.

A really enjoyable tour with good food and a good group.

Nice variety of restaurants, was and drink was delicious. I loved ended the evening with ice cream! I was in a small group of 6 so we it was nice and intimate and everyone was great. Our guide was knowledgeable and accommodating for my dietary needs. Good price for the value.

We enjoyed the experience, but felt it was too expensive for what it was.

The package we purchased was supposed to include five stops for food or beverage tastings. We had only four and the restaurnats were not up to our expectations. We assumed it would be a little higher end and we would get to sample a signature dish or cocktail. Also, the description stated that all of the tastings would add up to a meal. That is not a true statement. Corn on the cobb and a slider is not a meal. We were very hungry when it was over. Our guide was very pleasant. The buildings she showed us were interesting and we enjoyed that part of the tour. But I would not recomend this tour.

This tour is not as decribed. We went to four not five resterants. Very disapointed in the samples we were given. No coctails were offered and the food was on the lower end. The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable but I would not recomend this tour to anyone.
