I am an older beginning on guitar. A good friend gifted me three lessons with Todd Bordonaro. I had a fabulous time. We explored blues and country music. He was very patient with me as a beginner and explained guitar theory in a manner that a beginner could embrace and put into practice. He is a fabulous teacher and makes learning fun. I will be continuing on my own with Todd. If you are looking to advance your music, regardless of your stage of learning, I cannot recommend enough some lessons with Todd!!!

What happens on the day
Whether you’re a beginner who’s learning how to play or you’re just looking to improve your skills, join professional guitarist Todd Bordonarao for one-on-one guitar instruction!
Your three lessons will use both visual and aural aids in addition to hands-on demonstrations to give you insight into your instrument and show you how to get the most from it. Learn specific guitar (or bass) exercises and techniques that you’ll then perform during the lesson under Todd’s watchful eye and ear. You’ll also learn basic music theory, listen to music by renowned players, and get into insightful discussions on the history of your instrument. After your lessons are over, you’ll receive follow-up videos and materials to personalize your experience.
Todd teaches in-person classes in the Bronx and Manhattan, but no worries if you don’t live nearby. You can still take advantage of his expertise via Skype or Facetime. All you need is a webcam or smartphone.

Todd Bordonaro is a highly accomplished player with over 30 years of experience whose bands have fronted for renowned musicians such as Dave Brubeck and James Cotton. He has studied music with acclaimed jazz teachers Jack Wilkins and Peter Prisco as well as at The Mannes Co. of Music and The Univ. of Miami.
