What happens on the day
Make a splash on the Tieton River!
Often called the “last summer run,” the Tieton River is the perfect way to end rafting season. Normally a calm creek, it transforms into a roaring Class III+ powerhouse each September when Rimrock Dam releases heavy water, creating fast, splashy rapids, and nonstop excitement.
After checking in with your certified guide, you’ll gear up with high-quality rafting equipment before enjoying a scenic shuttle ride to the launch point. Along the way, your guide will cover safety basics, paddling techniques, and what to expect on the river.
Then it’s time to hit the water! Tackle 13 thrilling miles of Class III+ rapids, including local favorites like High Noon, Waffle-Wall, and Wild Rose!

When Do I Choose A Date?

What do I need to bring?
Sunglasses with a croakie attachment and sunscreen are recommended as well as a change of clothes and a towel. A bag lunch or a snack as well as a water bottle with an attachment strap are also encouraged.

If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. However, all cancellation and rescheduling requests are subject to additional fees. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, maintenance issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
