What happens on the day
Hop aboard a 4x4 Jeep for an exciting 2-hour open-air adventure where you’ll take in the beauty of Zion’s unique landscape from the top of the world!
The incredible vantage point of the local radio tower gives you a one-of-a-kind perspective of the beauty and grandeur of not only Zion but the entire surrounding area. Ease into your trip as the wind blows softly through the open-sided Jeep. Your experienced guide/driver will share about the area’s history and give you the general lay of the land as you climb over 8,100 feet in elevation.
The views from this height are truly spectacular. Marvel at the uninterrupted sight of Zion National Park, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Cedar Breaks, and more. From certain spots, you’ll be able to see the majestic layers of the Grand Staircase (the exposed layers of rock that extend over vast regions of southern Utah). Be sure to ask your guide about the history and geology of the Zion area while you’re there.
Don’t be surprised if you see wildlife like deer, rabbits, wild turkey, hawks, and golden eagles. The critically endangered California Condor can also be spotted in and around the park. And if your tour is in the evening, you may even hear an occasional coyote singing in the distance.
