Calling all adventure lovers! This canyoneering experience takes you into the twisting, mysterious halls of the Goblin’s Lair.
Utah is home to a vast desert landscape full of stunning rock formations, panoramic views, and twisting canyons washed by sunlight and shadows. This canyoneering experience takes you into this wilderness where you’ll uncover some of its most beautiful areas. You'll feel like you've escaped reality for an adventure on an alien planet!
Follow your expert guide out into the Goblin Valley State Park, named for the mushroom-shaped “hoodoo” rock formations. Your experience begins with a hike through this valley, known for its inclusion in the hit-show Galaxy Quest. Your guide will share fascinating historical, geographical, and biological information about the area. Then, disappear into a slot canyon before rappelling into the Goblin’s Lair. This cavernous space has the calm, breathtaking feel of a medieval cathedral. Marvel at the sunbeams that cascade down the stone walls, throwing shadows here and there. Take a seat and enjoy a complimentary snack in this beautiful space!
This 4-5 hour canyoneering experience is led by an expert guide who will provide safety instructions as well as the fundamentals of rappelling and canyoneering before you head off into your adventure. They are also on site to answer any questions or address any concerns that may come up. Your time concludes with panoramic views of the landscape from a nearby vantage point. All necessary gear is provided, including snacks, so all you need to bring is your adventurous spirit!
