Got to Anna Maria Island early to see the sights, have a nice lunch, booked a hotel room, but got a call at 3:25 that the cruise was cancelled because there weren’t enough people signed up for the cruise. So that was a bust. Rescheduled for the following week. This time, we just drove down, did the cruise and left. The cruise was fun although it was cloudy and the sunset was also a bust.
Good cruise. Captain was not totally informative of area. Captain also did not take the boat out past the island so you could see the sunset into the Gulf instead we had to see it set through the trees on the island. When asked if he could he told everyone they could see it that way if we went to the beach. Maybe we will next time.......
