We moved to FL from the west and have never been out on the water. This 2 hour cruise was fantastic! The host was a life-long resident of Anna Maria Island and knew the waters like the back of his hand. He was easy going and had so much information to share, but there was also plenty of time for just quiet enjoyment of the water and the beauty around it. The dolphins were hard to come by the day we took the cruise, as it was unusually cold and also low tide, but that made the host strive even harder to ensure we had a great time. We saw a bald eagle perched on a wooden post just a few feet from the boat, tons of pelicans and egrets as well. But the best was a rookery for many of the birds, all nestled in trees on an island together. We felt like we had the best experience ever. Totally worth the price. And we plan to do it again!!

Anna Maria Island's resident dolphins are wild and their behavior is unpredictable. While sightings are very common, they are not guaranteed.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, as long as you do not litter. Bring anything you would like to eat or drink. Adult beverages are fine.
What time of day or tide is the best to look for dolphins?
Wild Atlantic bottlenose dolphins are active in our local waters throughout the day, regardless of time or tide.

Highly recommended! We saw a few groups of dolphins, manatees, and lots of different birds. Our boat captain was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Our dolphin and sunset cruise was amazing! Captain Chad was the best host.
