What happens on the day
Capture the magic of the sea during this beginner-friendly glassblowing class in California!
Kicking off at the studio of your choice (Mare Island or Half Moon Bay), you’ll join an expert glassblower for two hours of creative fun. First, you’ll choose your favorite colors before creating one of the following projects:
Small Jellyfish: 4 to 5-inch body with an average of 6 vibrant tentacles.
Large Jellyfish: 7 to 8-inch body with approximately 10 tentacles.
With your instructor by your side, you’ll safely gather molten glass from the furnace, blow and sculpt the form, and shape each tentacle by hand. After your session, your masterpiece will be slowly cooled in an annealer and ready for pick up within two weeks.
Finish it off at home by hanging your illuminated jellyfish with an included light fixture and bulb—a gorgeous, glowing reminder of your day in the hot shop!

Cancellation Policy
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
