I LOVED my Castro District to Twin Peaks hike. Our guide, Kevin, was informative and very knowledgeable about San Francisco history and lore . He patiently answered all our questions. For the most part, the terrain was flat, but as we started up the Twin Peaks trail, it got a bit steep. I am an older lady--and Kevin kept an eye on my hill climbing progress and assisted me as needed. I really appreciated that attention to my progress up the hill. The views were amazing from from the top. I would absolutely recommend this hike! I am thinking of doing it again and bringing some friends with me!

This is our second Cloud 9 Living experience as the result of a gift. The first was the Presidio hike and viewing of Goldsworthy art work. This one, the second was an 'Urban Jungles' hike in SF. While it involved some uphill walking, including some uphill steps, my wife (who had right partial knee replacement about 10 weeks ago) enjoyed the walk very much. It is certainly a bit off the beaten path --- a change from the crowds around Union Square (which we still enjoy as well). The walk starts in the Castro, and it is interesting to get a perspective on that area as it is unique in the US. We saw many elegant homes --- some historic, and the weather cooperated so we had panoramic views of the Bay Area. There was enough fog to add a little drama. The Jungle is an eucalyptus rain forest and is certainly something few visitors to the Bay Area will see. We have been in San Francisco many times, so were interested in getting a new perspective, but even someone who only knew a little about San Francisco through hearsay would have a richer appreciation of the area and its residents as a result of this Urban Jungles experience. Our hike was July 1 and there were still numerous flowers in bloom.
Dawn P. is awesome. Had an amazing experience on 5/14. I am glad to have experienced great customer service when contacting Cloud 9 Living directly, and then contacting Alexandra Kenin by phone! Will recommend.
